Saturday 12 July 2008 – Family Fun Day at the Beanbag
Those lovely people at the Beanbag Natural Health store are holding a healthy, fun family activity day to raise some money for us. Their popular shop and consultation centre is in Wesley Walk, Witney. There’s going to be face painting, a tombola, competitions, Emma’s Trust merchandise and free tasting of some scrummy, organic produce. Also a top nutritionist will be on hand to give free children’s nutritional advice. Saturday 19 July – Dance Workshops
Chipping Norton School of Dance would like to invite young dancers to take part in a variety of exciting workshops, being run by some of their talented senior students. Money raised will go towards Rupert Parson’s ‘Cuban Challenge’ (see below) which is ultimately raising funds for Emma’s Trust.
10.00 – 11.30am Musical Theatre with Bethanie Ball (ages 8 – 15 yrs)
11.45 – 12.45pm Street Dance with Brendan Crawford (ages 7 – 11 yrs)
1.00 – 2.30pm Street Dance with Brendan Crawford (ages 11+)
2.45 – 4.15pm Modern/Jazz with Jenna Mckee ex pupil (ages 7 – 12 yrs)
4.30 – 4.45pm A short presentation for parents & friends to watch

Saturday 19 July – Cooper Black & Mr. Fox
Here’s another exciting event in support of Rupert’s ‘Cuban Challenge’ and raising funds for Emma’s Trust, two extremely talented and entertaining local bands will be performing at the Town Hall. Music, dancing and a great time will be guaranteed! The doors open at 7pm and our Trust team will be running the bar. Friday August 22 - Golf Day at Chipping Norton Golf Club
Our annual Golf Tournament is once again kindly hosted by the Chipping Norton Club. It is always an extremely enjoyable four ball competition over 18 holes with refreshments, lunch and great prizes. Sunday 28 September - Emma’s Day 2008
'For the Town – In the Town' – A FREE Family Fun Day in Chipping Norton. This year we're ringing the changes and putting on something different. There will be music, sport and children's activities all around the town and the day will culminate in a gala performance at The Theatre starring one of the UK's most talented and highly respected comediennes, Rhona Cameron.
"This is a laugh-out-loud journey through her darkly comic and ridiculous life. Expect brand new material, impeccable timing and a generous helping of her classic sharp-witted observational humour!"
Tickets are £30 each including champagne and canapés on arrival. Music will be provided by the Chipping Norton All Stars Jazz Band.

October 10 – 19 Cuban Revolution Cycle Challenge
Chipping Norton horologist, Rupert Parsons is taking on an exciting challenge to raise money for Emma’s Trust. This ten-day cycling expedition begins in the Cuban capital of Havana and ends by the Caribbean Sea in Trinidad some 350kms later.
